How to use Google Alerts to update money making websites
By epape
Building blogs on a specific topic in order to make money online with
advertising and affiliate programs is very trendy. Although the idea to
make money easy with online sites to terms and projects that need
little maintenance and attention, create multiple blogs on various
topics can be profitable but make a lot of work. But with the help of
Google Alerts, can become easier and lose less time looking for
content.
I understand that I tell you that they can create blogs, almost
mini-sites, where the constant updating is not necessary and the search
engines bring visitors. I agree, and if the blogs are well optimized
for the keywords. But we also know that visitors from search engines
typically convert well on Google Adsen, as are the usual visitors of
our blogs that convert the best affiliate programs. There are many
affiliate programs available and to me, are far more valuable than
Google Adsense. A sale or lead to an affiliate program gives values
well above Google Adsense and can trigger our gains.
If we update our blogs, rather than mini-sites with some posts, we
have increased exponentially the ability to earn money online.
Building and maintaining multiple blogs is updated quite laborious
and takes us a long time. Write a good post or news can lead a good
time. Usually it is necessary to research data, establish facts and to
find images. Moreover, mastered several thematic and niche markets is
not easy and also cost us time. And if we create multiple blogs, many
will be on topics that dominate the background and we are still
developing. This does not mean it is not difficult to create quality
material.
When mastered a subject, it is because we really are fans of
something like this is a theme or activity that we perform. And with
this easily read daily sites and magazines, we watch the news and know
where to find information, talk about it with friends, we attend
forums, etc.. But if we have 10 blogs on various topics, we would lose
time to read and look for news and information would be immense and'd
be no time to update them.
I have several blogs on various topics. Some domino, taste, and I
follow. Others are just products I use, but not necessarily dominate
everything. Others are just existing. On the other hand, I work from 8
to 18h it takes me a long time. Although you can read some sites and
have ideas during the day, when I get home I already know what I write.
Some of these blogs already have a structure and text on products
and topics, but with updates and news of the market, they eventually
get more visitors and earn regular readers.
And here, finally, comes the Google Alerts. As we realized, after
such introduction, I use Google alerts to stay abreast of news and
updates on these topics.
Google Alerts is a tool from Google that allows us to receive
information about new events and updates on one (or several) keyword
(s) by e-mail. Suppose we want to know new instances of Wordpress. As
we know Google is constantly "scanning" the web and where is an update
or a new text on the word Wordpress sends us an alert.
I can read the emails on the phone and respectively notifications
Google Alerts. At home, just quickly reread the news or new
information, make a few more quick searches (sometimes Google Alerts
not picking the original source) and write my text. Sometimes it takes
10 to 15 minutes, let alone the hours (or more) that a post like this
might take.
Using Google Alerts?

Google Alerts
To use this tool you do not need Google account, although it is
advisable as it makes it easy to manage our alerts. To use Google
Alerts just go on home page Google, About Google, then the tools and
services from Google. By choosing Alerts or Alerts will appear in a
page with a box equal to the of the picture fill the box we have
several options:
Search terms - just enter the keywords you want. It's like in
Google search. If we use an expression rather than a single word
(common today) such as mobile Internet, we create an alert for "mobile
internet" and one for mobile Internet, because the results will be
different. In this case the mobile internet is able to give many
uninteresting results because it will send all new cases with the two
words do not necessarily follow the text.
Type / Type - here you can choose only news, blogs, web,
understanding, videos and groups. I usually choose comprehensive as it
covers everything.
How often - in this case is how many times and can choose where Google has a new occurrence, once a day or once a week.
Deliver to / delivered - we can choose to receive by mail or feed. I use e-mail.
Google Alerts not picking everything
We need to get some attention and not expect that Google Alerts
pick on all new mobile internet or Wordpress, because there are several
ways to talk about these issues. One thing I noticed is that Google
sends alerts and updates of sites that constantly scans and that
"thinks" that are updated regularly. A few days I received an instance
of a news published in the Frog on a study, but did not get the
occurrence of the study published days before.
By this I mean that we always have, from time to time, seek out
new information and news on the topics of our sites. Because we do not
lose out anything!
Have been using Google Alerts? and for this purpose?

Epage,
I have learned that I SHOULD be using Google Alerts when I am under construction for a new Hub. The Internet changes so quickly. This should be one of the first steps in the research and development of a new Hub for every dedicated professional.
Linking to the best videos and information is needed in order to keep your Hub evergreen.
